Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a lawyer from Britain and Lebanon, a human rights activist, and charitable philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. The length of her professional career has received international praise for her accomplishments in international law and in the field in human rights. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia that is fighting against the Turkish government to get acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within the world of popular culture. Before this she was respected and admired in the legal world because of her success and skill at representing clients. Her job is to represent multinational corporations in negotiations and court cases about government regulation, in addition to social justice or human rights. Since 2015 she served as a barrister in British Court in Doughty Street Chambers.
